Bro. Hubbard and his wife Sharon came to Gospel Baptist Church in 1991, hired by Pastor Jerry Wilson to be the Assistant Pastor and to start and be the Principal of their new Christian School.  Upon the resignation of Pastor Wilson in 1994, Bro. Hubbard was voted in as the new pastor.  He and Sharon both grew up in Indianapolis, Indiana, where the met, were saved and baptized, and surrendered their lives to the Lord at the same church. After graduating from Bible college, they spent seven years at an independent Baptist Church and School in the Dallas, Texas area before arriving in Ohio.  They quickly grew to love the region and the people of the Mid-Ohio Valley.  For 30 years they have served the people of Gospel Baptist Church and look forward to many more years to come.  They have one daughter, Karen, whom they adopted in 2007 at the age of 13.  She married Caleb Ross in 2019.
